This installation, which was created for the ‘Data Curation’ exhibit in Museum of Art at Seoul National University in 2013, attempted to capture and then visualize the various moods common within the Korean culture. These included joy/pride, love, fear/ shame, anger, pity, and sadness/frustration. As these terms, or any that were related to the overall categories, were shared via Twitter, the system would capture and then display a burst of light to illustrate an abstracted vision of how Korean speaking people might feel.

Several modes were created to show different timeframes of the day – instantaneous, hourly, and through the day.

In collaboration with Brian Brush and Yong Ju Lee.
